Having worked around new construction, both residential and commercial since he was 18 years old, Doug started his heating & cooling career in 1997. He attended Illinois Central College to become a refrigeration & air conditioning technician. “I was on the Dean’s list, top of my class, and participated in extracurricular activities with the Skills USA program where I won 3rd place in Illinois and eventually 17th in the nationals in HVAC, competing with technicians from all around the world,” Doug describes.
